4 Ways to Stop Blocking Your Blessings

Let’s be real.
Sometimes it’s us. Sometimes we are the ones standing in our own way. But that doesn’t have to be the case.
Here are four ways you could be blocking your blessings and how to finally get out of your own way.

Your Words

Sis, what you say has soooo much power! Each word you speak over yourself is telling your brain what to do.
So if you’re constantly telling yourself you’ll never be a millionaire, or you don’t have what it takes to start a business, or you’re not smart enough to go back to school… Guess what your brain is gonna do??
It’s going to brush off those millionaire ideas and opportunities, it’s gonna talk you out of starting that business, and it’s gonna struggle every time you open that book to start studying.
Remember to speak life over yourself every single day, and believe it! At the end of this post, I’ve listed some affirmations that you can use to do just that.

Let It Go

It’s time to stop letting the past and things that you can’t control hold you hostage.
Holding on to anger, resentment, and regret could be blocking your blessings, sis. It’s hard to attract positivity and new opportunities when you’re still giving so much energy to negativity and the past.
Today, I encourage you to release anything that doesn’t serve you. And give all of your energy to things that do.

Put an End to Self-Doubt

So we’ve talked about your words and your past, but let’s take a minute to focus in on how those two can work together to cause self-doubt.
If you’re allowing a past experience to have so much control over you that you talk down on yourself because of it, we need to address it, sis!
Your past does not define who you are today. I mean you can re-invent yourself every morning if you really want to because you get to choose who you show up as at every moment!
If self-doubt is causing you to miss out on the blessings God is trying to send your way, I have a few resources for you:

A Cleansing Ritual

While we do have control over our mind and the power to change our thinking, it’s not always easy to.
The environment that we’re in will also influence our mindset and what we’re able to manifest. This is why it’s so important to be protective of your space and your energy.
Periodically take note of things, habits, and people who drain your energy or bring you negative energy. If possible, try to limit your interactions with them. Also, notice what things, habits, and people restore your energy and bring you peace and positivity. Try to encourage more time intentionally engaging with them.
You can also utilize natural resources to cleanse your space and energy of negativity and encourage more of the things that you want to attract. Here are some of my favorite ways to cleanse:
